Zines for you and me

Zines began in the 1920’s with the Harlem Renaissance by a group of Black creatives who wanted to “express [them]selves freely and independently - without interference from old heads, white or [black].”

Zines carried through to the Great Depression and onward taking on many forms. Some zines are about fighting the systems of oppression that control us, while others are zines trying to convince you to play a specific video game.
The point of Zines is freedom of expression, freedom from high expectations, freedom from commercialization, and freedom from reality.
